AL WEST : Rangers ??? no Angels for sure!!!
AL Cy Young: Wang??? he has not had a full major league season and is the third best pitcher on his team. Oh and I love the HOMER pick of Brauny!!!!

First off have you seen the Angels line up? Could be one of the worst 1-9 line ups of a so called contender. So yes the Rangers will win it all. Wang was 9-4 before getting hurt, hes a beast and is the best sinker ball pitcher in baseball

      My predictions:

      AL East: Yankees
AL West: Angels (pitching prevails over offense)
AL Central: Twins (They always manage to find away)
      AL Wild Card: Boston Redsox

      NL Central: Cubs
      NL West: Dodgers
      NL East: Philadelphia
      NL Wild Card: Brewers

      NL MVP: Ryan Braun
      AL MVP: Mark Texiera
      AL Cy Young: CC Sabathia
      NL Cy Young: Tim Lincecomb

      ALCS: Yankees over Redsox
      NLCS: Brewers over Cubs

      World Series: Brewers over Yankees

and I would have to say that Brandon Webb is the best Sinker Ball pitcher in the MLB (I hate Asian Pitchers)

Ryan Braun selection is bias, Albert POO-HOLES makes a huge return to MVP form.. i said it

I like the division winners, however I’m going to have to disagree with Braun winning NL MVP. Even as a biased Brewer fan, I understand that there are other guys in the National League who will be putting up some incredible numbers, even better than Braun.

      So here is the list:
      1) If healthy, I think no one can statistically compete with, as Stuart Scott calls, “Fat Albert” Pujols. The guy will put up a lethargic .355, 120 RBIs, and 40+ home run season like he always does. However, “if healthy” is key; Pujols is coming off of elbow surgery. Although the guy doesn’t have any protection in the line-up, I still think dude will be putting up some gaudy numbers once again and is the front runner for 2009 MVP.

      2) Hanley Ramirez: Although only 25 years, Ramirez has already established himself as one of the league’s best. This guy has five tool ability and still has not reached his full potential. Last season, Ramirez was close to reaching the ultimate 40-40 club, which only 4 players in major league history have ever done (last was Alfonso Soriano back in 2006). If Hanley ends up putting up these types of numbers in the 2009 season, he is a lock for 2009 MVP.

      3) Ryan Howard: Now many of you may not like this pick because of his low batting average in 2008, in years past, incredible power numbers trump the lack of hitting for average. Howard did get off to a slow start in 2008, but with protection in the lineup around him with the likes of Rollins, Utley, Wurth, and Victorino, he will have plenty of opportunities to once again drive in 140+ RBIs. This mammoth of a man can hit the long ball to any part of the field. Being on a top contending team doesn’t hurt either.

So here are my top three for 2009 NL MVP. Sorry for the Braun fans out there…his time will come soon!

Good response, and all great candidates for NL MVP, I think any 4 players(Braun included) could win it. This comment itself could have been an article haha. Good work

Howard strikes out too much to be an MVP, Han-ram is a five tooler for sure but an MVP i dont know if his numbers will stand out enough… Pujols is a lock for sure and Ryan Braun comes in a distant second although he carries the crew to the playoffs unlike “Fat-Albert”

Fine my new picks are AL MVP-Robinson Cano and NL MVP- Billy Hall

I figure I made the prediction with D Wizzle winning NBA MVP and since I’m going to be right about that, I have a chance to be correct with my two favorite baseball players

well considering James has been putting those kinda numbers up all season its going to be hard to take the MVP away from him…he is a near lock, however that D-Wade game was utterly amazing props to him he is certanily a star, but I dont think anyone ever questioned that

    16. Papa Bear
      3/11/09

It seems like D-Wade and LeBron are literally fighting for the feendz.com nod for MVP, everytime kittels posts something about wade, lebron tries to out due him… last night lebron put up a triple double in a come from behind win.
