One of my favorite things about the NFL season is betting. I think the same can be said for a lot of football fans world-wide. The advice I offer is strictly optional, never make a bet you don’t feel comfortable with or you will just grow to resent me.
My Parlay Card (TEASER) Week 7:
Packers: -3
Colts: -8
Falcons: +10
And my EASY MONEY PICK OF THE WEEK IS:
Falcons: +4 (hell I even took them to win straight up)
Good luck this week, Win some $$$

Days after letting Houshmandzadeh leave to go to Seattle, The Bengals have made their move to fill the gap, and that gap filler is Laveranues Coles.
“The Bengals were very aggressive right from the start in talking to us,” Coles said, in a statement released by the team. “And when a team makes you feel really wanted, that’s a factor you’re not going to ignore. They said, ‘Let’s get this worked out,’ and we did.”
ESPN reported that the deal with Cincinnati was worth $28 million, another indication of how badly the Bengals wanted him. Coles also visited Buffalo last week.
“Clearly, Laveranues gives our passing game another proven weapon,” coach Marvin Lewis said. “He’s been durable and reliable, with high production in catches, yards, yards-per-catch and touchdowns. He’s also a passionate player, a guy who will bring a very positive chemistry to our locker room.
I think that after all the shit I talked, the Bengals have finally made a move to improve their team. I think Coles is a nice fit here and can really help out their offense by providing a nice trio of WR’s with Coles, Johnson and Henry. I am sure Ocho Cinco is happier then ever that he now has someone to take some of the attention off his aging self.
So I leave you with this. Who would you rather have, Whosyourmomma or Coles?

Take last year’s Brett Favre retirement speech, substitute Jets for Packers (and remove any references to playing well), and you’ve got today’s news: Favre is done.
Favre had instructed his agent, James “Bus” Cook, to inform the Jets on Wednesday that he is retiring. Favre and the Jets both confirmed the retirement in separate conference calls.
“There are several things that went into decision but most importantly, the most important thing, was that physically, you know with my shoulder the last half of the year it hampered the way I played,” Favre said. “I’m 39, I had several options [to have surgery] and to let it heal. How that would affect me in terms of playing I had no idea and it wasn’t something I was going to risk.” Jets owner Woody Johnson said it was Favre’s decision to step aside.
