Collins Signs 2 Year Deal, Young Gets Older, As Old Passes Young

The 36 year old Kerry Collins has reached an agreement with the Titans for 2 years $15 million. Yipee.
Collins says he is happier then ever to resign and always intended to resign with the Titans, despite rumors.
“This is where I wanted to be, and my family loves Nashville,” Collins said. “It is just part of the process. Free agency comes about, and there are lots of talks and rumors. At the end of the day, this is where I want to be, and I am happy it worked out.”
So what about the NFL’s 2006 rookie of the year, Vince Young. Is he to sit and rot on the bench for another 2 years, or more if Collins pulls a Brett Favre? There is a number of NFL teams who would welcome Young on their team and pay him handsomely for it, so what does Young think about all of this? Inside sources say he will be dissapointed but will try and have a good attitude about it. HA! What does that even mean?! If I was Young, I would be telling my agent to find me a starting job ASAP. Vince, you should contact me, I will get you a starting job no problem, how do you feel about the weather in Chicago?
If Youn sits out another 2 years he will be 28 years old with little experience, as you can see his attractiveness gets less and less. Lets say Collins deicedes to stick around for another year or 2, after his contract is up, then Young has sat those 2 years for nothing and he will be 30 by the time it comes back around!
ASK TO BE TRADED!!

Young wasn’t really a good fit for the Titans offense IMO
Vince Young > Kerry Collins
his numbers are extremely terrible as an NFL QB, Collins led them to their best record since the year after the Super Bowl they were in so I have to disagree and say Collins >>>>> Young
I don’t think she said Young was a better fit in Tennessee then Collins? I think the point is he is rotting on the bench when I am sure lots of other teams would welcome him as a starter.
Quarterback is the hardest position to play in all of sports……you have to be smart as hell to do it. There is a reason why people made a big deal when Young did terrible on his Wonderlic test. They should have never drafted him in the first place and in my opinion will never be a valuable quarterback in the league. Kerry Collins >Vince Young
Did he not win Rookie Of The year in 2006? One bad year after that and he is thrown off the bus, thank God every QB isn’t held to the same standards or a LOT of GREAT QB’s would have never been given a chance
so are you saying that Vince Young is a great Quarterback. His rookie year wasn’t even that great, personally if being booed lead to him comtenplating suicide he probably has bigger issues to work out before he even attempts to start at qb again
