Terrell Owens Headed To The Bay Area?

owens

Take into consideration that Owens is the biggest drama queen in NFL history, his ploys for attention make you think he did not get enough as a child, and his infectious cancer to team locker rooms spreads faster then herpes in a whore house, but Owens WILL get signed.

“There are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell,” Rosenhaus said. “I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not identify the teams at this time. Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner.”

So where will he land? Sources tell me that he will likely end up in the bay area in either Oakland or a return to San Francisco. We all know Al Davis has a history of taking on troubled play makers, and when the topic of Owens came up during a interview on KNBR in San Francisco, 49ers general manager Scot McCloughan simply said, “We don’t close any doors.”

But where else would be a “good” fit for the talented attention seeker? Recently Herm Edwards said that Tennessee would be an amazing fit. A veteran locker room, with an established veteran coach MIGHT be enough to contain the cancer. And lets face it, Owens would help a good Titans team who lacks in the WR core.

I also think that the Bears would be a good fit for Owens. I don’t know if Lovie Smith can control him, but it seem like they would get along… The Bears need a  play maker WR maybe more then any team in the NFL.

The topic is open to discussion since no one really knows what will happen. What do you think?

I pray he doesn’t end up in Oakland. I love the Raiders and all, but this would be a BAD choice. Al Davis needs to just go away.

I don’t think the Raiderswill put a cancer like TO in a locker room with Mcfadden and Russell, why expose those two to negative nancy TO. I mean I know the Raiders are idiots but come on. I think the team hecould thrive with is the Saints, you have an established QB in Brees who runs that show and wouldn’t have to worry about TO and how much the Saints throw the ball he wouldn’t have to complain about getting the ball cause there is plenty of ball to go around there. No matter what though whoever signs TO better do it to only a 1 YEAR DEAL

      fins because of parcells.

giants to take place of burress

vikings because ever since moss’ departure they haven’t had any above-average receivers and did’t seem to acquire one in past drafts. but then again, it might be their qb situation.

Listening to Colin Cowherd this morning and he had a clip from a Sean Payton interview about T.O and Payton said there was absolutely no way they would bring in T.O a guy who was second in the league drops and alot it critical situation….his words not mine…..I keep hearing talk of him ending up in the AFC South, Jacksonville or Tennessee. Personally I hope he ends up on the Philadelphia Soul or something…..

Chris mortensen reports that 15 out of the 16 NFC teams would not sign TO, this is hilarious and it is obvious to the teams that play the cowboys and eagles and 49ers that this guy is a joke to play with or against, however the one team that would sign him is the 49ers would take him back WOW….

At this point it is inevitable he will be in the AFC next season, lets just hope whoever signs him gets what they deserve and he once again completely destroys their chemistry in the locker room…

I agree that the titans may be able to contain him with all their veteran leadership

If Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb and Tony Romo couldn’t make T.O happy, I am going to go out on a limb and say Kyle Orton would struggle as well

if jerry rice stood on cris carter’s shoulders, kyle orton still couldn’t hit him… terrell’s attitude has always been a factor but i love to hear that coaches are bringing up the fact that he makes critical drops, the guy is a joke and nobody likes him, T.O., sean avery and a-rod should live together on a reality show
